Realme X Spider-Man: Far From Home Special Edition launching on July 9

Realme X Spider-Man: Far From Home Special Edition has been announced in China. Realme has tied up with Sony Pictures to launch the new Realme X model in the Chinese market. It will go on sale in 8 GB RAM + 128GB storage configuration on July 9th.

Separately, Realme India CEO Madhav Sheth has spurred the advent of Spider-Man-themed Realme X via Twitter. However, it is not clear whether the new Realme X model will also launch in India or not.

According to the newly announced Weibo Post, Realmie X Spider-Man: Far from Home Special Edition will be available for purchase in the custom gift box. Sales will be from 9 am on July 9, which will be on the price tag of CNY 1,799 (approx. 18,100) for a single 8 GB RAM + 128 GB storage option.

Being a special edition, the new Realme X model is likely to be available in limited quantities. The phone, however, is coming at the time of the global release of Spider-Man: Far from Home.

Realme India CEO Madhav Sheth highlighted the company's move to launch Realme X Spider-Man: Far From Home Edition. However, the executive did not confirm the start of the new model in India.

Realme X special edition

 To remember, Realme X was launched last month in China. The smartphone was expected to arrive in India immediately after launch in China. However, Sheth confirmed at the end of last month that Realme X will only be able to launch in the Indian market in the second part of the year. He also mentioned that a special edition of the new Realme phone for Indian customers will make the country's path with high anticipated onion and garlic variants.

Price of Realme X

In China, the price of Realme X starts from CNY 1,499 (about 15,000 rupees) for 4GB RAM + 64GB storage, while its 6GB RAM + 64GB storage model is priced CNY 1,599 (approximately 16,100 rupees and 8GB RAM + 128GB storage) . Version on CNY 1,799 (about Rs 18,100)

 Realme X runs ColorOS 6.0 based on Android Pie and has a 6.53-inch Full-HD + (1080x2340 pixels) AMOLED display with 19.5: 9 aspect ratios and Gorilla Glass 5 protection. The phone is powered by Octa-Core Snapdragon 710 SoC, which is up to 8GB with internal RAM and 128GB internal storage.

 In terms of optics, Realme X has a double rear camera setup with an f / 1.7 lens with a 48-megapixel primary sensor and a 5-megapixel secondary sensor with an f / 2.4 lens. There is also a 16-megapixel selfie camera with an f / 2.0 lens and it comes in a pop-up module.

 Realme X packs a 3,765mAh battery that supports the VOOC 3.0 Fast Charging technology. In addition, other specifications of the phone include 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 802.11ac, Bluetooth v5.0, GPS / A-GPS, USB Type-C port and Dolby Atmos audio.
